Project
An elevating llft design at Puhunui Station
Puhinui Station has been transformed into a two-level landmark transport hub. Improving the quality of the passenger experience has been achieved by Jasmax’ contemporary design and high-quality architectural finishes – of which the 4.5m high glass photo-imaged lifts are the striking centre-piece.
Beyond Surface were proud to work with mana whenua artist Johnson Witehira from Johnson Witehira Studio to print and deliver the beautifully executed imagery on the glass lifts. The grandeur of this striking work-of-art feels appropriate to the significance of the interchange as a gateway to Auckland Airport.
Scale
5.4 high glass on three lifts
