Project

Hurricane-protected High Commission buildings

In hurricane-prone Western Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu, window film solutions proved a cost-effective way of delivering peace-of-mind to strengthen existing glazing and protect people from flying debris.

Beyond Surface carried out site surveys across eight British Embassy and consular properties in three countries. Where glazing did not meet the required protective standard set out by the UK Home Office, we went beyond surface to audit sites and provide recommendations. Once approved, we cut and collated film and equipment in New Zealand to install at each site then travelled on-site to handle and certify every aspect of installation.
