Escalators refinished, future-proofed

The Henderson Civic Centre is a large facility encompassing offices, glass walkways, lifts and two large glass enclosed escalators leading to bus and rail platforms. This area suffers its share of ‘glass scratch graffiti’ vandalism. Beyond Surface has managed the glass maintenance on this structure for the past 10 years. Recently we replaced all the damaged film on the two escalators on behalf of UMS, the Contractor working for Auckland Council.

All old film was removed and replaced with Avery Dennison Safety X. The job was completed on time and within budget.
